NON-SURGICAL TREATMENT OF A RESIDUAL POCKET

INITIAL SITUATION

Baseline probing depth of the defect area distal of tooth 21 indicating a pocket depth (PPD) of 7mm with no signs of bleeding (BOP +).

Application of PERISOLV® until the fluid issues from the defect. 30 seconds later, the scaling and root planing procedure is started.

1 YEAR AFTER TREATMENT

No inflammation signs (BOP+), pocket depth (PPD) stable at 4mm.
